Elder McKade Kerr Mission

Hey everyone! Hey! I know I haven't sent out a really long email in a while, and I had TONS of people complain to me about that, (Actually, just my mom), so I'm gonna try to write a longer one this week. You're welcome mom. And to everyone else, sorry, the pictures aren't loading this week, so you can just stop reading now and get on next week, haha. I actually did write down a couple things to put in my email this week though, so get ready for a lot of random stuff. We had a super cool contact the other day, but it was kind of weird at one point too. They were two girls, probably in their 20's, and they actually called us over to them because one of them wanted a bible. It turns out they have talked to missionaries before and wanted to know more, so we set up a lesson with them and actually taught them yesterday, and it went great! Hey everyone! Yeah, I know, my group emails have been pretty lame recently, and this week's is too. I went to Barbados for MLC this week, which was super cool! I got to see a lot of my friends that I haven't seen in a while, and I met a lot of cool people too! Then I came back and was a little sick  the rest of the week,  but no biggie. And that's all. Hi everyone! Sorry, but I don't feel like writing a big email this week, so I'm just gonna send pictures instead. Actually, I suppose I should be saying you're welcome instead of sorry, because let's be honest, none of you read my big emails anyway. You just look at the pictures. I've got about a half hour for pictures to load onto this email, and with how slow these computers are you'll be lucky to get more than two, haha. Mom, you can add more that you have on if you want. Oh, and the title of my email is just what the other missionaries said when I asked what they were titling theirs. Yeah, pretty boring. Love you all! Hey everyone! This weeks has actually been super great! I have totally felt the gift of tounges this week, especially during the exchange. I was with Elder Anderson for the exchange this week, and it was super fun! He was in my district in the MTC, so we are super tight and had a great time. We also worked super hard and had tons of success! They also bought new bikes a couple weeks ago, so I didn't have to worry about riding that piece of junk that I did last time, haha. Actually, something super cool happened with me and Elder Anderson while we were contacting. We knocked on someone's door, and a guy in his 20's opened it up, and we started to contact him, but he said he needed to do something real quick and told us to just wait there, and then he went inside for something. While we were waiting, I jokingly said to Elder Anderson that we should just go in the house and sit down and teach him a lesson. He said ok, and yelled in and asked if we could come inside, and...

There has been a McKade sighting somewhere in the jungles of French Guiana! Hey everyone! Normally I think of things to say in this during the week, and then write it in my planner so by the time I get here I already know what to write about. But I didn't do that this week, and I can't really remember anything that we did, haha. So I'll just keep typing and hopefully something will come to me. Oh, one thing is that it rained a ton this week. It has rained almost constantly since thursday. It was mostly just drizzling, but there were a  few times that it poured rain. So that was pretty cool. Oh, and we also played soccer this week! We had it as a sports night at the church, and we had some members and investigators come, so it was a success! The only problem was that some of them were really good, so I played really hard to try to not get destroyed, and I ended up getting super bad blisters on my feet. Hello! Alrighty, I don't want to spend too long on this email today, so I'm gonna skip this useless first paragraph and just get started right away. You're welcome. So, we went on exchanges this week, and that was interesting. I went with Elder West, and he is in a biking area. The only problem is they don't have bikes. They have fossils. I don't know how old those things are, but they have more problems than, um, something with a lot of problems. Anyway, The brakes don't really work on the one I was riding. You need to pull the left hand brake, and then grab the wire under the metal bar under your seat and pull on that too. And then it still stops pretty slowly. And the chain fell off a few times. And the seat isn't fully attached, so it spins around and if I get off and get on again sometimes the seat is sideways. So yeah, that day was awesome! It was actually super fun once I got the hang of riding it, haha.  We also had a miracle happen ...

Hey everyone! How are you all? I hope you are doing well. This week was a little crazy because I had to go to Guadaloupe for legalization and visa stuff while my zone was in Martinique for zone conference. So I spent a night in Guadaloupe, and a night in Martinique this week, and the rest of the time I was here in French Guiana. Also, I've been on my mission for six months already. That went by fast. Because of that, I thought of some cool things I've done on my mission that I could write about. Kind of like stuff I've done by the numbers or something like that.  Since I have started my mission I have: Been on 16 airplanes. Been in 6 countries/French territories. (Not including the US). Had 5 companions, all who have been taller than me. (But have they been cooler or better looking? Doubtful.) I have served in three diffirent areas, which have also all been in different countries. St. Vincent, St. Martin, and French Guiana. Built one roof...
