Rain! Sent February 12th, 2018

There has been a McKade sighting somewhere in the jungles of French Guiana!

Hey everyone!

Normally I think of things to say in this during the week, and then write it in my planner so by the time I get here I already know what to write about. But I didn't do that this week, and I can't really remember anything that we did, haha. So I'll just keep typing and hopefully something will come to me. Oh, one thing is that it rained a ton this week. It has rained almost constantly since thursday. It was mostly just drizzling, but there were a  few times that it poured rain. So that was pretty cool.

Oh, and we also played soccer this week! We had it as a sports night at the church, and we had some members and investigators come, so it was a success! The only problem was that some of them were really good, so I played really hard to try to not get destroyed, and I ended up getting super bad blisters on my feet. I could hardly walk the next two days. It was pretty painful, but also pretty funny. Luckily we have a car, so we didn't have to walk around a ton. Oh, actually, never mind, we took the car to the shop on Friday and had to walk to the church, which took about 20 minutes. Haha, yeah, that hurt a little. But they are all better now! And I'm pretty sure my team won in soccer, so it was totally worth it.

We had some cool lessons this week that were really spiritual. We taught a sick member and her two kids, and then had the opportunity to give them priesthood blessings because all three of them were sick. By the time we left everyone was a lot happier, and I think they were feeling a little better too, so that was cool. We also had another great lesson with Jennifer, and she is excited and ready to  get baptized at the end of this month! We had a lesson with another investigator named Donald this week two, and he said he wants to get baptized too, so that was awesome! Overall the week went by super fast, but it was really good too.

I can't think of anything else to write, so I'll just finish off by saying goodbye and have a great week!

Love, Elder Kerr
