Miracles! / Sent June 3, 2019

Hello Everyone!

Sorry that I didn't write anything last week. My brother got on the computer at the same time as me, which almost never happens, so I was talking to him instead. And I don't have much time this week because I need to set stuff up for college, so I think I'll just put some random highlights from the past two weeks.

I saw a turtle.

We set two baptismal dates this week.

I saw a frog.

We helped a less active come to church for the first time in months.

I saw a cat.

We were eating dinner at a restaurant, and a few drunk or crazy people came in at different times and were asking us for money. With that and a lady next to us who loved to talk, we didn't get one quiet second during all of dinner. But the lady who was talking a lot also is one of the people we put on date. Lots of miracles with that.

I saw a dog.

I cut my hair two weeks ago, but we didn't have the 1 inch guard for the razor, so I cut the top to 3/4 of an inch. It was super short. It's growing back now.

I saw a bird.

It's mango season, so tons of people are giving us mangoes because they have too many to eat themselves. They taste so good!

I saw a spider.

Hello! Well, here I am, finally where all of you thought I've been this whole time. Barbados. It's pretty cool here. Also, the keyboards are normal english keyboards again, so here I am struggling to type again, haha. So this might not be a super long email, but I'll try to give you a little overview of this past week, because it was pretty weird. I left Guadeloupe on Tuesday, and got to Barbados at around 8pm. We have a pretty big apartment, or a small house more accurately, because we share it with the zone leaders, but there were 8 people sleeping there because everyone is moving around for transfers and waiting for flights or companions and stuff. Then Wednesday we mostly were driving to and from the airport dropping people off and picking people up, and then that evening we got to be at the mission home with the missionaries going home, so we ate and chilled with them, and had a little testimony meeting. Hello! Hey, how are you all? I hope you're all doing great! This week was pretty slow, but still good. I guess some weeks are like that. But anyway, something kind of scary and interesting happened this week. We were contacting a lady, and it was actually going pretty good, but she was one of those people who can just talk forever. I'm not kidding, there are some people here who will just talk all day long about n'importe quoi (I'm not really sure how to say that in english, haha. Just basically random stuff that's not important.) Anyway, at the end of the contact she just went off and started talking about so much random stuff about her life and God and her family, and it was good, but she was probably talking for almost 10 minutes straight without letting us say anything. Pictures / Sent August 27, 2018

Hey everyone! I'm just gonna send pictures this week instead of writing about my week. I'll just tell you that we only managed to teach two of the 15 lessons we had planned, so we did a lot of contacting, haha. Those two lessons were really good though. So was the contacting.
