Guadeloupe / Sent Feb. 25, 2019

Hello!

Well, I don't want to say that I had a week-long vacation to Guadeloupe this week, but I kind of had a week-long vacation to Guadeloupe this week, haha. Elder Teixeira from the Presidency of the 70 came to speak, so President wanted us to come too. He only spoke on Thursday, but because of delayed flights, and how flights work between the French and English islands, we left Tuesday morning and got back Saturday night. And we had a couple other things to do Sunday, so we had about 4 hours of proselyting in our area this week, haha. So that part was a bummer, but everything we did do was super great. I'll try to share just a couple highlights.

First off is I got to be in Guadeloupe again! I love all the missionaries there and got to stay with Elder Anderson and Elder Griffin, who are both awesome, so it was a party. But I think the best part was Thursday night when I got to see all of the members from my old branch. It was so great to see them again. I can't even describe how happy I was to be there and talk and laugh with them again. And, a lady that I found got baptized on Saturday, and so even though I wasn't at the baptism I got to talk to her on Thursday too, and that was really cool. 

Also, Elder Teixeira was super cool. He had a meeting with just the missionaries in the morning, and it was awesome. He had us sit down and tell him all the parts of missionary work that are hard or we could improve on, (Which was every aspect of missionary work I think, haha), and then he told us in detail how to overcome some of them. It was super cool. 

Well, have a great week everyone! I meant to take lots of pictures while I was in Guadeloupe, but I forgot, haha. My mom can hook you up with a video of me juggling in a branch talent show in Guadeloupe though if you ask her. Have a great one!

Hello! Well, here I am, finally where all of you thought I've been this whole time. Barbados. It's pretty cool here. Also, the keyboards are normal english keyboards again, so here I am struggling to type again, haha. So this might not be a super long email, but I'll try to give you a little overview of this past week, because it was pretty weird. I left Guadeloupe on Tuesday, and got to Barbados at around 8pm. We have a pretty big apartment, or a small house more accurately, because we share it with the zone leaders, but there were 8 people sleeping there because everyone is moving around for transfers and waiting for flights or companions and stuff. Then Wednesday we mostly were driving to and from the airport dropping people off and picking people up, and then that evening we got to be at the mission home with the missionaries going home, so we ate and chilled with them, and had a little testimony meeting. "You're paying for that!" / Sent Sept. 10, 2018

Hello! Hey, how are you all? I hope you're all doing great! This week was pretty slow, but still good. I guess some weeks are like that. But anyway, something kind of scary and interesting happened this week. We were contacting a lady, and it was actually going pretty good, but she was one of those people who can just talk forever. I'm not kidding, there are some people here who will just talk all day long about n'importe quoi (I'm not really sure how to say that in english, haha. Just basically random stuff that's not important.) Anyway, at the end of the contact she just went off and started talking about so much random stuff about her life and God and her family, and it was good, but she was probably talking for almost 10 minutes straight without letting us say anything. Pictures / Sent August 27, 2018

Hey everyone! I'm just gonna send pictures this week instead of writing about my week. I'll just tell you that we only managed to teach two of the 15 lessons we had planned, so we did a lot of contacting, haha. Those two lessons were really good though. So was the contacting.
