Still doing group e-mails!
Hello!
Well, now that I got that over with, I guess I'll try to share some interesting experiences from the week. We had an appointment with a lady who lives on the 16th floor of an appartment building. But when we got there we realized that none of the elevators were working. We wanted to talk to her anyway, even though we only had like 5 minutes, so we went up the 16 flights of stairs as fast as we could. We were with an 18 year old member, and when we got to the top he said he couldn't feel his legs anymore, haha. I guess I'm pretty used to walking up and down stairs by now though, because it wasn't too bad for me. So then we talked to her for like five minutes and ran back down all the stairs. It was pretty fun.
Recently many missionaries, including my brother, have decided to stop sending out group emails because it's "boring" or they "dont want to". Well, as I was listening to all these other missionaries from the great and spacious building telling me to stop sending group emails any more, I decided to do the selfless thing and continue sharing my love and testimony with you every week, as well as my fun missionary experiences. As they enjoy their freedom in that great and spacious building, I'll enjoy the amazing fruit of sharing my love with all of you wonderful children of God. I love you all!
Also, Elder Bennett is in Martinique now, and I'm with Elder West. It's going pretty good. We had a cool miracle this week where we had a RDV fall through, and afterwards I was like, "let's go left and contact those buildings" (lazy missionary move), and Elder West said, "Let's go right and talk to people on the road" (diligent missionary move). So we turned right, and five seconds later we saw someone that I met with Elder Bennett a few weeks ago. He said we could come over in 20 minutes and teach a lesson, so we did and it went really well. We never would have saw him if we went the other direction. So that was super cool.
Well, have a great week everyone! My pday next week will probably be the day after Christmas, so Merry Christmas too! Love you! Have a great one!
Love, Elder Kerr
