Elder McKade Kerr Mission

Hello! Hey, how are you all? I hope you're all doing great! This week was pretty slow, but still good. I guess some weeks are like that. But anyway, something kind of scary and interesting happened this week. We were contacting a lady, and it was actually going pretty good, but she was one of those people who can just talk forever. I'm not kidding, there are some people here who will just talk all day long about n'importe quoi (I'm not really sure how to say that in english, haha. Just basically random stuff that's not important.) Anyway, at the end of the contact she just went off and started talking about so much random stuff about her life and God and her family, and it was good, but she was probably talking for almost 10 minutes straight without letting us say anything. We were standing on her porch, and after a few minutes I started to kind of zone out a little bit and stopped really paying a lot of attention. But then she looked me straight in the eyes, ...

Hey everyone! Hey! So I guess I'd just like to start out my email with two apologies. First, sorry to everyone who sent me an individual email last week who I didn't respond to. I was trying to figure stuff out with the pictures, so I couldn't email most of you. And second, sorry to all of you again this week! I probably wont have time to respond to you today either, haha. Whoops. On the bright side, there is pretty much just two of you who email me every week outside of my family, so shout out to you, haha.  Something pretty cool happened this week. President Nelson came Santo Domingo or something like that and did a broadcast to all the missionaries and members in the carribean! That was super cool. He said lots of cool stuff, but the one I wanted to share is why he said he came. He said that one week ago he woke up at 2 in the morning with thought that he had to go speak to the people in the Carribean, and that he had room in his schedule in one week. So he was...

Hey everyone! I'm just gonna send pictures this week instead of writing about my week. I'll just tell you that we only managed to teach two of the 15 lessons we had planned, so we did a lot of contacting, haha. Those two lessons were really good though. So was the contacting. Hello! Hey! How are you all? Well, I'm in Guadeloupe now, so that's cool. I'm finally on an island again, so that's nice. It's fun to see the ocean again. This week was pretty weird. I'm so used to knowing my area and branch that all the sudden being in a new place is super weird. But it's good, and all the members are nice, and it should be fun. I'm not really sure what to write about this week, but my mom asked me a bunch of questions about my new area, so I'll just answer those. I'm still in a walking area, so that's fun. I think bikes are my favorite, but walking is good too. However, this area is a lot bigger than my other area, so we can't even go to most of it it's so far away. Oh well, it's still good, I still like walking. There are six different areas on the island I think. Or maybe five. Either way, it's by far the biggest zone I've ever been in.
