Hey everyone!

Hey! So I guess I'd just like to start out my email with two apologies. First, sorry to everyone who sent me an individual email last week who I didn't respond to. I was trying to figure stuff out with the pictures, so I couldn't email most of you. And second, sorry to all of you again this week! I probably wont have time to respond to you today either, haha. Whoops. On the bright side, there is pretty much just two of you who email me every week outside of my family, so shout out to you, haha. 

Something pretty cool happened this week. President Nelson came Santo Domingo or something like that and did a broadcast to all the missionaries and members in the carribean! That was super cool. He said lots of cool stuff, but the one I wanted to share is why he said he came. He said that one week ago he woke up at 2 in the morning with thought that he had to go speak to the people in the Carribean, and that he had room in his schedule in one week. So he wasted no time at all, set it up, and came and spoke to us. It was super cool to see how our modern day prophet wastes no time when he recieves revelation. I know that he is a prophet of God and that he does everything he can to follow the will of God to help all of us come closer to Christ. It was really awesome to see that in action.

I actually have another spiritual thing I wanted to share this week. It's been a little while since I've done that, so two paragraphs today should make up for it, haha. I read a scripture recently, and I had the opportunity to share it with two different people this week, and I felt like I should share it with all of you too. It is Mosiah 27:14. That is the scripture where the angel is talking to Alma the younger, and he explains that he came to stop Alma in response to the prayers of his father. I think that is really cool. I'm not sure, but I feel like Alma the elder was probably praying for his son for many years before that happened. I know that as parents pray for their children, God will answer their prayers. It will be in God's timing, but there is a special power when parents pray for their children, and God does hear and answer those prayers.

Hello! Well, here I am, finally where all of you thought I've been this whole time. Barbados. It's pretty cool here. Also, the keyboards are normal english keyboards again, so here I am struggling to type again, haha. So this might not be a super long email, but I'll try to give you a little overview of this past week, because it was pretty weird. I left Guadeloupe on Tuesday, and got to Barbados at around 8pm. We have a pretty big apartment, or a small house more accurately, because we share it with the zone leaders, but there were 8 people sleeping there because everyone is moving around for transfers and waiting for flights or companions and stuff. Then Wednesday we mostly were driving to and from the airport dropping people off and picking people up, and then that evening we got to be at the mission home with the missionaries going home, so we ate and chilled with them, and had a little testimony meeting. "You're paying for that!" / Sent Sept. 10, 2018

Hello! Hey, how are you all? I hope you're all doing great! This week was pretty slow, but still good. I guess some weeks are like that. But anyway, something kind of scary and interesting happened this week. We were contacting a lady, and it was actually going pretty good, but she was one of those people who can just talk forever. I'm not kidding, there are some people here who will just talk all day long about n'importe quoi (I'm not really sure how to say that in english, haha. Just basically random stuff that's not important.) Anyway, at the end of the contact she just went off and started talking about so much random stuff about her life and God and her family, and it was good, but she was probably talking for almost 10 minutes straight without letting us say anything. Hey everyone! I'm just gonna send pictures this week instead of writing about my week. I'll just tell you that we only managed to teach two of the 15 lessons we had planned, so we did a lot of contacting, haha. Those two lessons were really good though. So was the contacting.
