Merry Day After Boxing Day!
Hey everyone!
I guess everyone was feeling nice during Christmas, because I had about twice as many emails as usual, and I used most of my time reading them, so this email will be a little smaller this week. You know, probably. I never really know how long it'll be, haha. And I'm emailing today because the email shop was closed yesterday because it was boxing day! Boxing day is a huge thing here, and so everyone was home and didn't really want to have us interrupt their time to relax and do nothing, haha.
I guess I'll say what Christmas was like. I convinced most the other Elders in my zone to go running with me Christmas morning, and we all went on a super hard long run with tons of hills, so it was basically the best ever. I was dying. I was so happy, haha. And then we just chilled for a little bit and then got to see our families! That was so fun! I saw Braden too, which was sweet. I noticed he bashed my French skills a little bit in his email. Hmm. At least I haven't put on any weight. Then that night we are allowed to watch a movie so we watched Cars 3. It was so good! We were all screaming our heads off at the last race, it was so intense, haha. But anyway, it was a great day, and it reminded me of why I'm out here. Because of Jesus Christ I know of the restored gospel and have the ability to repent and live with my family forever. Two years away isn't much of a sacrifice when you have forever to look forward to, and I'm glad I have the opportunity to give that same joy to others while I'm out here.
Well, that's about all I have to say, but I'll send a few pictures to make up for it. Have a great week everyone! Tell someone you love them. Do it to someone who might feel a little awkward too, it'll be nice and funny, haha.
Love, Elder Kerr
