Zone Conference / Sent May 14, 2019

Hello! I think I'll write a shorter email this week. I'm kind of tired of writing long emails, haha. But one cool thing that happened this week was zone conference! It was great to see President and Sister Fisher again. Also, I learned so much stuff. It's crazy how simple missionary work is, but how I never stop learning about how to be a better missionary. I wish I knew everything I know now at the beginning of my mission. Oh well, I guess it'd be smarter to not worry about what I didn't do in the past, and just do better for the rest of my mission. I'm sorry everyone, I'm really drawing a big blank on what happened this week. It was mothers day, so I got to skype home. It's kind of weird how the less you're able to do something the more important it becomes to you. For the first two Christmases and the first mothers day of my mission, those were the only times I could skype home, so it was super exciting and a big deal. But now th...

Barbados / Sent Jan. 28, 2019

Hello! Well, here I am, finally where all of you thought I've been this whole time. Barbados. It's pretty cool here. Also, the keyboards are normal english keyboards again, so here I am struggling to type again, haha. So this might not be a super long email, but I'll try to give you a little overview of this past week, because it was pretty weird. I left Guadeloupe on Tuesday, and got to Barbados at around 8pm. We have a pretty big apartment, or a small house more accurately, because we share it with the zone leaders, but there were 8 people sleeping there because everyone is moving around for transfers and waiting for flights or companions and stuff. Then Wednesday we mostly were driving to and from the airport dropping people off and picking people up, and then that evening we got to be at the mission home with the missionaries going home, so we ate and chilled with them, and had a little testimony meeting. It was cool. Then we had to get up early, 5am, to d...

One Eternal Round / Sent June 24, 2019

Hello! Well, we had another week this week. That's probably not too surprising considering that we have a week every week. But this one was special, because it was a semaine. Look that up in French. You'll be happy you did. Sorry if any of you take the time to google translate that. I promise that it's not even worth your time. But anyway, this week was good. Our friend Marie-Lyvie is still on date for baptism, so that's good! And we did lots of fun contacting. We had an exchange, and I was with Elder Jack, who is fun, but I also got sunburned pretty good with him. Oh well. And I can't r...
