I Saw a Pillar of Light / Sent June 11, 2018

Hey everyone!

This week was pretty good. We went on a hike today, and there was a pillar of light that was cool. I'll see if I can send pictures this week. For my email today my mom asked me a couple of questions, so my answers will be my email this week. 

Have I seen any miracles this week? These past few weeks have been rough with trying to find and teach investigators, but our less active work has been on fire, so that's a miracle. I feel like maybe God is making everything else harder so we'll get sick of it and try to spend more time with the members and less actives instead, haha. Frere (brother) Christoph and Soeur (sister) Gaelle have both been super great, and have both come to church the past two weeks in a row! They both really like the gospel, but have their own individual struggles too, but it is great to see how happy they are when they work with us and come to church. It is easy to see the difference it is making in their lives. 

How have I grown or changed since last transfer? Well, it's only been four weeks, and they've gone by super fast, but I was kind of forced to get to know my area better, and so that was fun. I feel a lot more connected to my area, not only knowing the area, but the people too. I feel like it's my area now instead of Elder Anderson's.

Hello! Well, here I am, finally where all of you thought I've been this whole time. Barbados. It's pretty cool here. Also, the keyboards are normal english keyboards again, so here I am struggling to type again, haha. So this might not be a super long email, but I'll try to give you a little overview of this past week, because it was pretty weird. I left Guadeloupe on Tuesday, and got to Barbados at around 8pm. We have a pretty big apartment, or a small house more accurately, because we share it with the zone leaders, but there were 8 people sleeping there because everyone is moving around for transfers and waiting for flights or companions and stuff. "You're paying for that!" / Sent Sept. 10, 2018

Hello! Hey, how are you all? I hope you're all doing great! This week was pretty slow, but still good. I guess some weeks are like that. But anyway, something kind of scary and interesting happened this week. We were contacting a lady, and it was actually going pretty good, but she was one of those people who can just talk forever. I'm not kidding, there are some people here who will just talk all day long about n'importe quoi (I'm not really sure how to say that in english, haha. Just basically random stuff that's not important.) Anyway, at the end of the contact she just went off and started talking about so much random stuff about her life and God and her family, and it was good, but she was probably talking for almost 10 minutes straight without letting us say anything. Hey everyone! I'm just gonna send pictures this week instead of writing about my week. I'll just tell you that we only managed to teach two of the 15 lessons we had planned, so we did a lot of contacting, haha. Those two lessons were really good though. So was the contacting.
