Surprise Vacation! Sent May 14th

Hey everyone!

So, this week was the last week of the transfer, and I got a call last Saturday night, so just more than a week ago that I'd have to go to Guadeloupe this week for visa and legalization stuff. I was supposed to leave on Tuesday, and get back Friday. I was a little sad because It was probably my last week with Elder Anderson, and I was missing half of it. But anyway, I left Tuesday and everything was going good. And now I'm gonna insert in a little bit of life advice. If you get an email saying you have an appointment on Wednesday the 10th, but Wednesday is actually the 9th, don't just assume that your appointment is on Thursday the 10th. Double check, because it might actually be on Wednesday. And, just hypothetically of course, the legalization place might be closed from thursday to sunday that week, and so you need to stay until monday to have your appointment. And once you figure that out the first plane back to your area might not be until Wednesday, so you might have to stay for 8 days instead of 3, and you won't even get the chance to say goodbye to your favorite companion becuase he leaves Wednesday morning too. So yeah, there's your advice. Take it or leave, but if you don't mind, could someone pass it on to Elder Anderson too, becuase I won't be seeing him again anytime soon.

Haha, so that pretty much sums up my week. I was with some fun Elders here though, so we had a good time. And I also got to skype home yesterday, which was sweet! Thanks everyone for all the love and support, and sorry, no pictures this week. Love you all!

Love, Elder Kerr

NOTE FROM HOLLY -   We got to see and talk with McKade yesterday for his Mother's Day call.  He looked and sounded great.  He said he was super happy and that he is loving his mission.  It was so great to see his smiling face, to hear his voice and to laugh with him.
