Everyone in my little appartment got sick this week except for me. That's good. Both Elder Anderson and Elder Jouffray had a super sick day this week. Maybe I should be more sympathetic, but hey, it's not fun for me either to be in a tiny house with people throwing up either, haha. Luckily it was kind of a 24 hour thing, and everyone is doing good now. We had a small miracle this week. Our mission president has been really pushing us to meet with members more, but it's kind of hard because we have lots of single women in the branch who live in the area, but we can't visit them unless we have a third male with us. So after trying really hard to meet with a few of them this week, but with no success, we decided to just do drop by visits with some members instead, and just...

Some kids who I gave a soccer ball to. Kind of a long story. Maybe you'll hear it some day. Hey everyone! Johnson before his baptism. So first off....... Johnson got baptized this week!!!!!!! I'm so pumped!!! I don't remember if I've mentioned him much or not, but I taught him most of the lessons with elder Griffin, and then Elder Griffin and Elder West finished it off after the transfer call. I'm pumped that I got to stay in Guyane to see it though. He is literally the most golden investigator ever. After the first lesson with him, he felt the spirit super strong, and came to church the next day, taking notes like crazy. Then he basically prepared himself to be baptized. He loves the church, and has an amazing ability to feel and recognize the spirit. I'm so pumped and happy for him. The one funny thing, and yeah, there is always something that goes wrong, is that the drain in the font wasn't super tight, so when they got in the font, the wate...

Hey everyone! Wow, this week was crazy. With transfers, missionaries here for legalization things, lots of problems with that, buying a new appartment, and trying to show the new missionaries around their area, I hardly had time to be a normal missionary this week. But that's ok, it's been quite the adventure. First off is the appartment situation. The appartment for the Cayenne missionaries, (my new area), is not actually in our area, it is in the area of the Mont baduel Elders. But because we had no missionaries in Mont Baduel before, and no appartment in Cayenne, that is where the Cayenne elders lived. It is a nice appartment, and a good size for two missionaries. But now we have new missionaries here who will be working in Mont Baduel, so we have four missionaries in that appartment right now. It is not a good size for four missionaries. It is very cramped. Hopefully we will get our new appartment soon, because it is gonna be very hard to have a normal week with all o...

Hey everyone! Holy cow! Conference was so good! Holy cow! I don't have enough time to say everything I want to, but there were two times during it when I felt the spirit super strong. First was the solem assembly. That was amazing. I literally just got the chills typing that, that's how good it is. And second was President Nelson's talk in Priesthood session, and then having all of us stand and sing. I just got the chills again. President Nelson is a true prophet!!! He is so amazing! If you didn't get that impression while watching, then you need to go repent and build a testimony of that, because he is literally telling us exactly what we need to do to prepare for the Second Coming. Be good, and minister even better! This week was super busy and crazy, but I'll only write about one other thing. I got transfered! This will be my 6th transfer in the field, and my 4th area. Hey everyone! This was a good week! Honestly, I don't really remember much, and nothing super cool happened, so this might be a short email. Also, I said French Week because me and my companion only spoke French to each other this week! Our mission president scolded us a little bit for not doing that, and he challenged us to do it. It was hard the first few days, but became easier by the end. There was still some stuff I had to explain in English, but mostly it was French. I'm still slowly improving, and although it's frustrating some days, I'm definitly progressing. Many thanks to the gift of tounges and all the help Heavenly Father has given me with that, because I could not do it on my own, that's for sure. Another cool thing we did this week was exchanges! Hey everyone! Hey! I have a lot to write this week, so either buckle up or just scroll down to see if there are any pictures like you normally do. Jennifer was baptized and confirmed this week!!! It was so cool! Like usuall, I'm struggling to download pictures this week, but hopefully I can get some to load. There was a big turnout, and President and Sister Herrington, (my mission president and his wife) were here for zone conference, so they got to be there for the baptism too! Jennifer just seemed so happy and so ready, it was great. I know I haven't talked about her much, but she is about 30, and is the cousin to sophoni, the girl who got baptized my first day here. It has been a long and hard road for her to get to this point, but she did it, and I've never seen her happier.
